Welcome to the Membership Services page of the Central European History Society (CEHS), formerly named the Conference Group for Central European History.

Since 1958, the Central European History Society has furthered scholarly discussion and activities in the fields of German, Habsburg and Central European history. In addition to supporting the group’s journal Central European History, a recognized journal of excellence, the Society sponsors panels at the American Historical Association Annual Meeting and awards two prestigious scholarly prizes named after the pioneering social historian Hans Rosenberg.

Beginning with the 2013 Membership cycle, all online membership transactions for the Central European History Society will be processed via this site. This site will also allow members to access the online Membership Directory. All members will receive a print copy of volume 46 of Central European History as well as electronic access to volumes 33-46 (2000-2013). A Membership option that includes access to the full digital archive of Central European History, spanning the years 1968-1999 (volume 1-32), is also available for purchase.
