AAS welcomes books for review in the following areas:

Mathematical modelling and methods (general, not just applied to finance)
Statistics and applied probability (general theory and methods)
Mathematical finance, insurance mathematics and actuarial science
Demography, social statistics

Details of books that are available for review are posted on the profession’s website at:

Reviewers are asked to produce an article of up to 1000 words within four weeks of receipt of the book, indicating the relevance of the book to actuaries. Reviewers can keep the book that they have reviewed.

All reviews are published in AAS.
