Cambridge first published the Systematics and Biodiversity with Volume 1 in 2003, and has significantly increased international dissemination in both print and fully searchable electronic formats. Cambridge introduced the electronic publication of individual articles in advance of print Issue publication, and the Systematics and Biodiversity now reaches a global audience through Cambridge's active involvement in such initiatives as the UN's HINARI programme.
