Cambridge University Press ceased publication of Biofilms on completion Issue 1 of Volume 3 / 2006.
Biofilms are increasingly being recognised as the preferred mode of growth of microbes in a wide range of habitats and have a large and varied role in human activities.
Cambridge first published the journal in 2004, and has significantly increased international dissemination in both print and fully-searchable electronic formats.
