Alison Lorrimer joined Departmental Solicitor's Office in January 1995 as the first professional librarian. Alison's library career began in Belfast Public Libraries, where she worked in Branch Libraries and in the Business, Science & Technology Department of Central Library. On her first day in Departmental Solicitor's Office, Alison wondered whether there would be enough work to keep her occupied?
